Irish model Sarah Morrissey: 'I'd rather my little girl didn't end up a model'
Top model Sarah Morrissey proudly shows off her first child, Sadie.
The photo shoot was Sarah's first modelling shoot since Sadie's birth in November.
While the tiny tot was a natural in front of the camera, her former Miss Ireland mum said she wouldn't necessarily want her daughter to follow her footsteps into the modelling world.
"It's not for everyone, so you just never know," she said.
"I was just very lucky I could make an actual career out of it. You just never know if you can or not.
"But if I'm honest, no - I would rather see her just get a nice job and maybe do this as a sideline.
"But whatever she wants to do, I don't care. As long as she's happy and healthy, I don't really care what she does."
A far cry from the usual frazzled look that first-time mums sport in the early months, Sarah (31) said she hasn't been "near a gym" and is just enjoying her time with her daughter.
She was speaking at the launch of the Aldi Baby & Toddler event, and will have her first big job with Brown Thomas in Dublin next Tuesday when she returns to work.
"I feel bad saying it, but I had one of those amazing pregnancies and I think that was good for afterwards," she said.
"I haven't been near a gym because I had to wait six weeks anyway. I just don't have the time.
"I also want to hold off on asking people to mind her for actual work. I don't want to be asking people to look after her while I go to the gym."
