Television presenter Baz Ashmawy said his wedding to his long-term partner Tanya Evans will be a family affair and will be kept out of the media spotlight.

The 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy star (42) and Tanya have been together since 2006 and have two children together. Hannah (7) and Mahy (6), while Baz is stepdad to Tanya's four kids from a previous marriage, Charlotte (20), Harry (19), Jake (15), and Amelia (13).

Speaking to the Irish Daily Mirror, Baz said: "I plan on doing something really private, me and the gang and a very small group of people, somewhere intimate.

"It's more for our family that we're doing it, I'm not doing it for the papers or magazines.

"me and Tanya are together a long time and we've children together so neither of us are looking at going anywhere so the wedding will be a celebration with family.

"Life outside of TV for us is very normal. I've learnt to balance work and family and I'm happy," he said.

Baz is currently gearing up for another show, which will feature his mum Nancy, however, the star stressed that it will be a much different format to his award-winning series How to Kill Your Mammy.
