'He is the best father' - Mara Lane gushes about fiancé Jonathan Rhys Meyers after welcoming son Wolf
The partner of Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Mara Lane, has said the Irish star is loving fatherhood since welcoming his first son in December.
Mara (39) gave birth to Wolf Rhys Meyers on December 15, and said Jonathan has been the "best father" to the pair's new arrival.
Taking to her Instagram to share a photograph of her family, Mara said: "J is the best Father btw. Ridiculously loving, super protective, patient and attentive. Wolf is basically snuggled, kissed, adored, sang to and entertained any free minute he has by his Papa."
The couple are currently trekking through Asia with their baby son, who was delivered at the couple's home by a midwife in December.
Mara's pregnancy was first rumoured back in September, but the couple didn't comment on the story at the time. However in December, Mara posted pictures of her baby bump on her Instagram page, confirming the happy news.
"#IncomingPackage best present. #ThankYouLord #SantaBelly," Mara captioned one picture.
Jonathan and Mara became engaged in December 2014 and last September, it was suggested the couple had secretly tied the knot last year, but the famously private couple rarely comment on their personal life.
While the Cork native does not have any social media accounts, Lane has an Instagram page, which she shares with her dog Toca and further causing speculation she wed when she changed the account's name to "Mara & Toca Lane Rhys Meyers".
