Gwyneth 'enjoying the freedom' of being consciously uncoupled
Gwyneth Paltrow is not ready to be "tied down again" following her 2014 split with Coldplay musician Chris Martin.
It's been almost a year since the 42-year-old actress and her husband Chris announced their split after ten years of marriage, dubbing the process a 'conscious uncoupling'.
She's already been linked to Glee producer Brad Falchuk since then, but it's now thought she's moved onto one of the show's stars. Chord Overstreet, 26, plays Sam Evans in the programme and Gwyneth has reportedly taken a shine to the handsome actor.
"Gwyneth adores Chord and says he's just what she needs right now - someone who's all about having fun and nothing serious. She's not ready to be tied down again and is rediscovering the joy of being single," an insider told British magazine Closer. "She's realised how miserable she was not living for the moment, and now she's stopped being so controlling over her life, she's so much happier."
Chris too has embarked on a new romance with The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence. They may have only been spotted out together a handful of times, but it's thought things are serious, with the 24-year-old actress apparently keen to make things official.
Meanwhile Gwyneth and her estranged husband are said to have made a deal when it comes to spending time with their new other halves.
"Gwyneth has accepted things are over with Chris and, instead of worrying about what he's up to, she's been on some quiet dates with other guys, including Chord," the source added. "But she and Chris have agreed not to publicly flaunt any dates at big events, and keep them discreet."
Meanwhile, it has emerged that the star has been filling up her single life with new hobbies including vaginal steaming.
In a recent post on Ms Paltrow’s popular lifestyle website, GOOP, the health guru recommended that women steam out their vaginas in order to deliver an energy boost and powerful internal cleanse.
Far from suggesting that Hollywood A-listers start squatting over kettles, Ms Paltrow proposed that women seek out a special herbal steam-treatment service available at the Tikkun Spa in Santa Monica.
“The real golden ticket here is the Mugwort V-Steam,” says Paltrow. “You sit on what is essentially a mini-throne, and a combination of infrared and mugwort steam cleanses your uterus, et al.”
Ms Paltrow added that the V-Steam is “an energetic release – not just a steam douche – that balances female hormone levels. If you’re in LA, you have to do it.”
