Former Xpose presenter Peter O’Riordan has welcomed a new addition to his family with the birth of his son Romeo.

The Cork man and his wife Stephanie are already parents to three-year-old son Olivier who is already in love with his new sibling.

“Baby Romeo was born a healthy 6lbs 4oz on September 3rd. Mama and baby are doing amazing and Livi loves his little brother,” he said.

The former TV3 star went on to say that he was “so proud” of his wife.

“Blessed beyond belief. So proud of this woman, never ceases to amaze me.”

The couple’s friends and family were quick to send their well wishes to the couple, including Peter’s former colleague Lisa Cannon who said: “Congratulations to you both. That’s incredible news and such a joy”.

Peter and Stephanie’s son Olivier was only five months old when the couple up and moved their lives in Los Angeles to come to Dublin so Peter could work on Xpose.

The TV host previously worked for TMZ in Hollywood before accepting a role on the long-running entertainment show, becoming the second male presenter after Sean Munsanje.

He presented the show for two years before being axed along with Lisa Cannon and Aisling O’Riordan.

They were replaced by Ruth O’Neill and Cassie Stokes, with Ruth departing the show earlier this year.
