Zeta-Jones, Douglas on red carpet
Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones have reunited for a red carpet appearance.
The married stars, who tied the knot in 2000 and have two children together, announced their separation last summer.
But the New York Daily News reported that the stars reunited for their first red carpet appearance together in eight months.
Michael, 69, and Catherine, 44, held hands and smiled for the camera as they arrived at New York City's Public Theatre, for the opening night performance of The Library.
Their separation came after Michael's battle with throat cancer in 2010, and Catherine's treatment for bipolar disorder.
But the pair have been thought to be trying to make it work and have been recently spotted together, going on a family ski trip.
In October, Michael told The Jay Leno Show: "Sometimes people take a little bit of a break, but it doesn't necessarily mean that's the end. I'm very hopeful."
