What Leonardo DiCaprio looks for in a woman (aside from model good looks)
Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly likes women who aren’t star-struck by his enormous fame.
The actor, who recently bagged his first Academy Award, has a reputation for dating fashion models, counting Toni Garrn, Bar Refaeli and Gisele Bundchen among his exes.
It was reported that he celebrated his Oscar win for The Revenant with former Made in Chelsea star Lauren Hutton, and the 41-year-old was also linked to model Roxy Horner while he was in London for the BAFTAs.
"He doesn't like girls who are really star-struck, he prefers models as they're often aloof and don't care if he picks one over another," a source told Britain’s Closer magazine.
"Leo keeps everyone's number and says they should drop by if they're ever in LA, so he does stay in touch with some girls."
However, the insider also revealed that Leonardo would never be tempted to send a private jet to collect a girlfriend, but would happily meet up if they happen to be in the same town at the same time.
They also divulged the star’s two closest relationships are with his mother Irmelin, and best pal and fellow actor Lukas Haas. And despite his A-list lifestyle, the handsome star is actually happiest at home.
"Leo's mum lives nearby and she regularly cooks his favourite food and he has a gigantic cinema room where he kicks back and watches movies with his mates," the source stated.
Leonardo has been nominated for an acting Oscar four times previously, but in 2016 proved fifth time’s the charm.
His movie The Revenant also picked up the Best Director gong for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, and Best Achievement in Cinematography for Emmanuel Lubezki.
