JUSTIN Timberlake has tweeted his love for Ireland after he was overwhelmed by the crowd support at his gig in the Phoenix Park last night.

The singer played to thousands of adoring fans in Dublin last night.

Clearly overwhelmed by the support of the crowd, the singer tweeted: “Dublin... You sang beautifully and you danced your asses off. What a special night. Thanks for having…”

Timberlake told the crowd last night: "It's been far too long since I've seen all of you. I can't tell you all how thrilled I am to be back in Ireland.

"Some of the best energy, music and one of the best beers have come out of here. I love you guys, I can't thank you enough for coming out tonight to Phoenix Park."

The singer had spent the last few days in Dublin preparing for the concert – with wife Jessica Biel even flying in to give him extra support.

The couple were staying at Dublin’s plush Four Seasons hotel for the duration of their stay.

They enjoyed a day out in Co Wicklow yesterday and were spotted having lunch in Avoca Handweavers in Kilmacanoge.
