West Wing stars Richard Schiff and Joshua Malina went for pints and steaks in Dublin
West Wing stars Richard Schiff and Joshua Malina have been spotted out and about in Dublin.
They're in the capital ahead of The West Wing Weekly Podcast at Vicar Street on Wednesday night and have been enjoying some golf, pints, and steaks ahead of the event.
Schiff is best known for his role as Toby Ziegler on the hit NBC series while Malina played Will Bailey.
The former shared a photo on Twitter of prints of Guinness at Kehoes pub off Grafton Street and another with Malina at Toners.
West Wing fans were thrilled to see the actors in town. One wrote, "2 west wing legends in 1 of my fav pubs and I missed it. hope you both enjoyed the Guinness" while another added, "To say I am gutted I can't be there to see you all this week is an understatement. Idols to me all of you, something I can never thank you enough for. All geniuses of your craft (except Josh.....only joking)".
Of course, there was also a deluge of recommendations for other top Dublin watering holes, including Doheny & Nesbitt's and Grogans, from Irish fans.
The Waterloo bar also invited the actor down for a pint and a free round and he was happy to stop for a pic with fan Aoife Brady who invited him to The Abbey Theatre during his stay.
"I do fancy a visit there and would love to work there as well!!" he wrote.
The pleasure was mine. Winter or summer this course plays like a tornado in a trailer park. Wreaks havoc. But a pleasure still. Thanks for the hospitality. https://t.co/bNmyWy8vCz— Richard Schiff (@Richard_Schiff) April 9, 2018
Schiff, who is currently starring in ABC series The Good Doctor and has a recurring role on Ballers, also popped in to D2 eatery Brookwood for steaks.
During his trip to Ireland he also indulged in a little golf and he took to Twitter to thank Yvonne Connolly after a round at Portmarnock.
He then visited Island Golf Club and tweeted, "Winter or summer this course plays like a tornado in a trailer park. Wreaks havoc. But a pleasure still. Thanks for the hospitality."
