'We're both too busy for wedding planning', says model Madeline Mulqueen
Model Madeline Mulqueen has revealed that wedding planning is off the agenda for now.
The 25-year-old model has been engaged to Hollywood actor Jack Reynor since last year but they have no plans to walk down the aisle just yet.
"We're enjoying being engaged, we have a lot of things on the list we want to tick off before then, and we're both so busy with work," she told the Herald.
She has posed on red carpets across the world and Madeline says movie premieres are a real "princess moment".
At the recent Edinburgh premiere of Jack's new movie, Macbeth, Madeline wore a black feathered gown by emerging designer Jennifer Young.
"Those red carpet moments are really fun and exciting - it's a great excuse to get dressed up," she told the Herald.
"I had modelled Jennifer's wedding dresses before as well, which was another real Cinderella moment."
While many would find the prospect of posing in front of hundreds of photographers quite scary, the Limerick native takes it in her stride.
"Coming from my line of work I'm not daunted by it, but the only thing you would be worried about is a wardrobe malfunction, but it's fine - it's all part and parcel of his job," she said.
Madeline is currently preparing to go on a charity trip to Africa with Diana Bunici, Irma Mali, Teodora Sutra and Siobhan O'Connor.
The girls are heading to a small village called Zabwe in Zambia to build a shelter for young girls.
Ahead of the trip later this month they are holding a fundraiser at 37 Dawson St on October 8.
Tickets are €15 on the door and prizes include VIP Kodaline tickets.
