We are family: Stylish Amal and George Clooney joined by her parents for increasingly rare public appearance
A-list couple George and Amal Clooney were joined by her parents Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin for an evening at one of New York’s most exclusive eateries.
The human rights lawyer looked as chic as ever in a monochrome floral minidress complete with scarlet jacquard detailing.
Amal (37) also showed off her impeccable legs in a pair of black caged stilettos, and sealed the deal with a slick of red lipstick.
Her Hollywood star husband George was pictured guiding Ramzi and Baria into Caravaggio restaurant, linking his mother-in-law by the arm protectively.
Baria, who is a renowned publicist and the foreign editor of al-Hayat newspaper, looked equally as elegant as her daughter in a gold brocade jacket and black tailored trousers.
Sources close to the couple have said that Amal is finding it hard to adjust to her newfound celebrity status.
The high powered barrister is trying to juggling her successful career with press intrusion, and strike a balance between her private and public life.
"Amal has a stressful career; the cases she works on are hugely important - but it's actually the less meaningful things that are really making life a challenge for her right now," a source told British magazine Grazia. "She says she can handle the job stress because that's what she knows, but this whole celebrity thing, it's just much harder.
"There's no denying she's been thrust into the celebrity spotlight. Of course it's a concern for George, who always tells Amal that she doesn't need to stress out," another insider commented.
