Jennifer Lawrence hit out at a reporter for being on their phone while asking her a question after Golden Globe win.

The 25-year-old actress was celebrating her third Best Actress statue and giving interviews afterward when she interrupted the journalist asking her a question to tell him to get off his phone.

"You can't live your whole life behind your phone, bro," she told him, wagging her finger.

"You can't do that. You've got to live in the now."

The man, who is not a native English speaker, apologised and went on to ask her about her thoughts on her potential for an Oscar nomination, to which she replied: "We're at the Golden Globes. If you put your phone down, you'd know that."

Phone usage was a common theme for the star throughout the evening as she presented the Best Motion Picture Comedy award with Amy Schumer earlier when Amy said: "Please turn your phone off."

"Stop taking pictures," J-Law echoed.
