Vogue Williams: 'I'm not expecting an invite to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding'
Vogue Williams has admitted she does not expect to get an invite to Prince Harry's wedding, despite her boyfriend, Spencer Matthews, having a royal connection through his brother James's marriage to Pippa Middleton.
The TV presenter (32) does not know Harry or Meghan personally, so she reckons she won't be at their big day.
"I wouldn't think so. I don't personally know either of them," she said when asked about being invited. "I wouldn't invite anyone I didn't know."
However, on whether she would like to attend, she said: "Who wouldn't?"
Vogue and Spencer recently bought an apartment together in London, but she insisted they are not in any hurry to get hitched themselves.
"There's no rush about anything like that," she told the Herald. "I'm happy with where we are going. We just bought a place together. To me, that's just as much of a commitment."
The pair have been dating for over a year after meeting on the set of the Channel 4 series The Jump.
But it wasn't love at first sight for Vogue who revealed Spencer was the one pursuing her before they got together.
"It was more so on his part to be honest," she said. "He kept ringing me after we had done The Jump together, and I was like, 'This guy is so strange'. We were just really good pals for ages."
Vogue was not looking to date anyone new when the Made In Chelsea star came into her life. "I had finally become happy being single. I suppose that's always when you meet someone, when you're happy on your own," she said.
The Howth native is looking forward to a quiet Christmas in England with Spencer before they see in the new year in France with his godfather.
"I don't think I'm working until mid-January which is a nice, long break," she added. "I just want to have a chilled New Year's. If you stay in Dublin or London, it just turns into a mad party."
