Twink's daughter Chloe Agnew has broken her silence on her mother's infamous 'zip up your m***ey' voicemail.
In 2006, Twink (Adele King) left her now ex-husband David Agnew the infamous scathing voicemail on his answering machine, two years after the couple split.
Chloe (25) explained how upset she and her younger sister Naomi were at the time, telling the John Murray Show on RTE Radio One: “Ah look, you know what these things happen and there’s nothing you can do about, but it it was an awful awful thing to happen.
"Just like anybody whose personal problems come out and are shared with the whole nation."
"What can you do? You have to just deal with it and get on with it. There's no point moping around or, like I said, holding on to resentment. It's not going to do you any good, so move on from it. Don't sweat the small stuff."
Chloe, who has returned home to Ireland from her LA base for a new stage stint, said it was difficult growing up when her parents public spat was played out in the tabloids.
"It was very tough, obviously," she added. "Myself and Naomi were very young and I think the toll it took on us, trying to maintain a young teenager's lifestyle while having that splashed across the papers was very tough.
"But we got through it like everything else and it's only ever made us stronger and now there's a little pact and a bond that we have that's unbreakable."
Now, more than eight years later, she says that she relishes her relationship with both of her parents and loves the time the four of them can spend together.
In the past week, he has become perhaps the most famous Teddy since Roosevelt or Kennedy. The story of how Twink's dog was stolen and then recovered captured the nation's hearts as much as anything in recent times. It has grown legs - posssibly even four of them.
You can prepare for a Bob Geldof interview, but you cannot prepare for Bob Geldof himself. Not that he isn't how you imagine: he is, but more so. Taller, louder, funnier, better read, more sweary, more informed, more opinionated. More everything.
