'TV3 is best dating agency' - Ireland AM's Ciara Doherty
TV presenter Ciara Doherty has described TV3 as "the greatest dating agency ever" after she and her sister Laura met their other halves there.
The Ireland AM presenter (35) will walk down the aisle with Richard Stearn in August as they seal the deal on their four-year-long relationship.
Their romance is all thanks to her sister.
"Richard and I were working in different departments at TV3 when Laura came to work here," said Ciara.
"She was in the same department as Rich and was like, 'The search if over, I've found him. You need to meet this guy!' That was it."
"We're going out four years now and she's married to Paul Connolly, a guy she also met in TV3, so we say it's the best dating agency ever."
Richard went down on bended knee and popped the question to Ciara on New Year's Eve in her home county of Donegal in December 2015.
She said it was "completely unexpected" and she took a laid-back approach to her wedding, booking the venue only at the start of this year.
The couple have chosen to fly away for the occasion and get married in the Montserrat mountains near Barcelona in northern Spain.
They will be joined by 120 guests as Ciara walks down the aisle in a traditional-style dress by Orlaith Carroll.
Meanwhile, Ciara has revealed how she's trying to "keep the inner Bridezilla under wraps" when it comes to her nuptials.
She'll be signing-off air at the end of next month to spend two weeks in Barcelona for her wedding before jetting off for an action-packed honeymoon.
The couple will spend two months back-packing around North and South America.
