Running through the streets of Paris with 55,000 people all intent on one goal - to run 26 miles and 385 yards."

RTE presenter Kathyrn Thomas congratulated Jenny on her success as she filled in for Ray on his afternoon radio slot. It's a huge achievement for her," The Voice of Ireland host said live on air yesterday. "I hope Ray that you're treating her to a slap-up six course lunch somewhere with lots of wine, followed by a massage."

"(Jenny) tweeted me, 'It was one of the best things I've ever done. The place, the people, the atmosphere. I now know the secret to why people do it - it's to feel alive.'"

After seeing Jenny's success, the Operation Transformation star admitted she has set her own marathon goals for this year.

Despite failing to achieve her dream of running her first marathon by the age of 35 due to injury last year, fitness fanatic Kathryn (36) revealed that she's on course to compete in this year's Dublin City Marathon in October.

"I had myself down to do the Dublin marathon last year and injured myself," she explained. "I tore the IT band in my leg. I said I was going to run one by the time I'm 35 and I'm down to do it this year for October.
