Top model Yomiko Chen expecting first child with hubby Iain Conway
Top model Yomiko Chen is expecting her first child in March.
The Herald reveals that the couture model (28) is having a baby girl with her husband of a year, Iain Conway.
But there's no extended maternity leave for one of the country's most in-demand models - she has indicated she will be returning to work in April.
Assets agency owner Derek Daniel confirmed the news and added that they were all delighted for the couple.
Yomiko only recently started showing and was working right up until last month.
"She had no bump for ages and then, all of a sudden, she had a bump," said Daniel.
"She was working right up until Christmas and she's off now. She's doing a little bit of maternity work, but that's about it.
"She expects to be back at work full-time in early April."
Saying that her pregnancy was "great news", Daniel added that Yomiko was one of the agency's busiest models because of her stunning looks.
"She's unique," he added.
Yomiko tied the knot last May with her partner of three years, with a ceremony in Bray for family and friends.
The couple followed it with two wedding ceremonies, in China and Japan.
