The original couple goals: Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell beam on the red carpet
After 34 years, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are in love as ever.
The First Wives Club star (71) and The Hateful Eight actor (66) have been together since 1983, famously never marrying, and looked happy as could be at the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 premiere on Wednesday night.
Russell plays Chris Pratt's onscreen father in the blockbuster sequel and Hawn fawned over her long-term partner.
"I’m always proud of him, and I’m proud of him with this [film], but I haven’t seen the movie yet," she told Entertainment Tonight.
As to what keeps their relationship going?
Russell described his love as "honest", while she echoed he's "never bad".
Last year, Hawn, who recently made her first film in 15 years opposite Amy Schumer in Snatched, said the secret to her long-lasting relationship is the fact that they never got married.
"I would have been long divorced if I’d been married. Marriage is an interesting, psychological thing. If you need to feel bound to someone then it’s important to be married," she said on an appearance on Loose Women.
"If you have independence, if you have enough money and enough sense of independence and you like your independence there’s something psychological about not being married because it gives you the freedom to make decisions one way or the other.
"So, for me, I chose to stay, Kurt chose to stay."
