‘The most beautiful day celebrating the newlyweds’
Rob Kearney has reunited with his fiancée Jess Redden after his extended stay in Australia.
The couple made the move to Perth in January after Kearney ended his 15-year career with Leinster Rugby to sign with Australian rugby union side Western Force.
While Jess returned home to Ireland in May to finish her pharmacy degree, her rugby player husband-to-be stayed Down Under for a few more weeks.
Now, Jess has her fiancé home following his return in recent weeks. She confirmed their reunion with some photos on Instagram from their friends’ wedding
The pair celebrated the marriage of their pals Lucy and Jake at a stunning location in Howth yesterday complete with a large marquee and plenty of sunshine.
Taking to Instagram, 27-year-old Jess shared a selection of photos from the “beautiful” day, including a cute Polaroid pic of her enjoying some wine with Rob.
Captioning the post, she wrote: “The most beautiful day celebrating the newlyweds.”
Friends and followers alike flocked to the comments section to pay their compliments, with one user writing: “Oh wow it looks stunning!! What a gorgeous bride too. Ye all look fab."
Another wrote: “Looking beautiful Jess as always.”
The pharmacist-in-training also posted some pictures from the wedding to her Instagram stories, one of which was a gorgeous shot of guests holding sparklers as the bride and groom enjoyed their first dance.
Another photo showed Jess modelling a hat during her meal, which she captioned: “More wedding spam. It really was the most incredible day.”
“The food was out of this world,” she wrote as she posted a photo of some seafood canapés.
“Company was pretty special too,” the Dubliner added.
Rob and Jess announced their engagement on New Year’s Eve back in 2019, after five years together.
The couple were planning to tie the knot this year but postponed their wedding plans due to the pandemic and following the death of Jess’ father in September.
