The hair of the dog: Jack Reynor and Madeline Mulqueen enjoy a post-IFTA pint with a special guest
Irish actor Jack Reynor enjoyed a double date with his fiance Madeline Mulqueen and a very special guest - his IFTA award.
The Wicklow man picked up his gong for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Sing Street at Saturday night's award ceremony.
The 24-year-old looked dapper on the red carpet as he posed in a two-piece suit with his close friend and Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer.
He joined a host of celebrities at the after party in Dublin's celebrity hotspot Lillie's Bordello, including Amy Huberman, Emma Donoghue of The Room fame and Vikings star Moe Dunford.
And it appears that the celebrations continued into Sunday as Jack was joined by model fiancee Madeline Mulqueen and his award for a 'hair of the dog' pint in The Hairy Lemon pub in Dublin's Stephen Street Lower.
The loved-up couple posed for a selfie as Madeline downed a Guinness and Jack enjoyed a pint Kilkenny while his award looked on from its pride of place by the window.
Despite the actor popping the question to his long-term girlfriend two years ago, the pair have yet to set a date for their wedding.
They recently moved to the actor's hometown of Wicklow to escape the madness of their careers.
"We're such home birds, really. And obviously from being away for the year, it made us more so. Wicklow is absolutely amazing," the Limerick model revealed to the Irish Independent.
"I think when we came back from America, I really felt the difference between being in the city and being in the countryside, in terms of getting a sense of peace and a sense of disconnection from the madness of the constant 'going' of life.
"I really feel like I can breathe, and I can decompress, when I'm in the countryside," she said.
