Johnny Galecki's California ranch has burned down in a massive fire affecting the area.
He was not at the property at the time and no one was harmed in the fire.
The Big Bang Theory star (42), who is one of the highest paid actors on television, lost his home on Monday in what has been dubbed 'The Hill Fire', threatening other homes in the San Luis Obispo area, which is located 190 miles away from Los Angeles.
His ranch is believed to be around 1,500 acres in total.
cording to a statement from Galecki, no one was harmed in the fire. It's believed he will return to the property when it is safe to do so in order to recover any personal effects which may have survived.
"My heart goes out to all in the area who are also experiencing loss from this vicious fire, the threat of which we live with constantly, which may seem crazy to some but we do so because living in our beautiful, rural area makes it worthwhile," he said in a statement to TMZ.
"It’s never the structures that create a community: it’s the people. And if the people of Santa Margarita have taught me anything it’s that, once the smoke has cleared, literally and figuratively, it’s a time to reach out and rebuild.
"We’ve done it before, and will need to do it together again, and it will make our community even closer and stronger. Endless thanks to CalFire and the Sheriff’s Office. I know you guys are fighting the good fight to keep us safe. So very relieved no one has been hurt."
The Big Bang Theory co-stars Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki are believed to have rekindled their romance following the announcement that Cuoco was to divorce her husband Ryan Sweeting after less than two years of marriage.
