Taylor Swift responds to hackers: 'Saying they have nudes? You got NOTHING'
Taylor Swift has responded to hackers that took over her official social media accounts and threatened to share nude photos of her.
The hackers urged the popstar's Twitter and Instagram followers to follow someone who is reportedly connected to hacking group The Lizard Squad, known for claiming responsibility for hacking Sony Playstation and Xbox Live last year.
But the singer left the hacking crew, who took over her social media accounts on Tuesday morning, in no doubt that they would not find nude photos of her to share online.
"Cause the hackers gonna hack, hack, hack, hack, hack...," Taylor first tweeted to the tune of her current hit 'Shake It Off' before following it up with a more serious message that read: "PS any hackers saying they have 'nudes'? Psssh you'd love that wouldn't you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING."
The hackers also claim to be responsible for the temporary shutdowns of Facebook and Instagram on Monday.
Swift assured her fans on photo-sharing site Tumblr that there was 'never a dull moment' in her life.
"My Twitter got hacked but don’t worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords," she wrote. "Never a dull moment."
"This is going to be a long day," she added, along with the hashtag, "#This is why I'm scared of technology."
