Taylor Swift opens up about Harry Styles romance: 'The number one feeling I felt about that relationship was anxiety'
They only dated for several months in 2012, but Taylor Swift is opening old wounds with her ex Harry Styles.
The Bad Blood singer (25) enjoyed a high profile romance with the One Directioner (21) three years ago and penned many famous songs after their split. But Taylor has once again spoken about the former relationship, saying she felt anxious the entire time.
But in true Taylor style, she didn't let the pain go to waste and wrote Out of The Woods based on their relationship. Before performing an acoustic version of the single from 1989 for the Grammy museum, she says: "The number one feeling I felt in the whole relationship was anxiety. Because it felt very fragile, it felt very tentative. And it always felt like, 'Okay, what's the next road block?
"What's the next thing that's gonna deter this? How long do we have before this turns into just an awful mess and we break up? Is it a month? Is it three days?
"And so, you know, I think a lot of relationships can be very solid and that's kind of what you hope for, for it to be solid and healthy but that's not always what you get.
"And it doesn't mean that it's not special and extraordinary just to have a relationship that's fragile and somehow meaningful in that fragility."
Swift is said to have split with boyfriend of eight months, superstar DJ Calvin Harris.
