Suits star Sarah Rafferty enjoys five-star trip to Dublin to celebrate her birthday
Suits star Sarah Rafferty definitely made the most of her whirlwind trip to Ireland.
The flame-haired actress, who plays Donna in the hit legal drama, jetted to Dublin to celebrate her 44th birthday, which she marked on Instagram with afternoon tea at the The Westbury Hotel with her "Irish brother from another" hotelier John Fitzpatrick. Rafferty has been busy during her extensive tour of the capital, which included a walk along Killiney Beach and selfies on the Ha'penny Bridge and appears to have avoided the height of Storm Ophelia for her arrival on Monday.
But all good things must come to an end and she was pictured leaving her five star digs yesterday, wearing an all-black ensemble her super stylish onscreen alter ego would definitely approve of - including a black dress coat and a killer blow dry. The tv star is no stranger to Irish shores and recalled another visit with her family where she was able to enjoy a pub on her own without being recognised.
"The whole Irish hospitality thing is so real. The night before my family arrived, I went around the corner to the pub, because there was live music and I was by myself," she told Irish Country Magazine of another recent visit.
"I was going to have a bite. I think I was there for an hour and a half. People were so friendly. I don’t think they recognised me. We were just in the pub, listening to music together, and enjoying ourselves.
"People kept saying, ‘oh can I get you a drink’? I was saying, ‘no, no, I couldn’t possibly.’ And they were insisting saying, ‘no I’m going to get you a drink.’ I mean by the end of that it was, ‘no, no, no, thank you’ and then, ‘thank you so much, now let me get you a drink’ and it’s their turn to be, ‘no, no, no."
"By the end of the night, I’m at my little table for one and there’s like nine pints on it."
