Spencer Matthews reveals he and Vogue may pay tribute to late family members with baby boy's name
Spencer Matthews has revealed that he and fiancee Vogue Williams are considering naming their son after relatives who have passed away.
The baby boy is due in September and, during an appearance on ITV's Loose Women, Spencer (28) was asked by pregnant panelist Christine Lampard, whether or not they had chosen a name.
Former Made in Chelsea star Spencer said they were considering paying tribute to his late brother Michael, who died aged 22 in 1999, or Vogue's late father Freddie, who passed away suddenly in 2010.
We've known it was a boy for so long now that obviously we have thought of names and we do have a few favourites," he said.
"I just don't know how much she'd be happy with me revealing."
However, he continued, "I don't think it has to be a secret that my brother passed away and so did her father, and we'd like to incorporate their names into our child's name somehow, and we have a few frontrunners, but we're not 100 per cent."
Spencer's brother Michael died while climbing Everest while Vogue's father suffered a stroke at the age of 68.
The happy couple, who got engaged in January, have previously spoken of their joy about their baby news as they had just begun to try when she became pregnant.
Vogue accidentally revealed the sex of the baby during an episode of RTE's Cutting Edge.
