Spanish soap star Anna Allen has been caught out for trying to pass off A list celebrity's photos as her own.
Instagram has become the social media platform of choice for the rich and famous to show off their picture-perfect lives.
One fledgling actress was evidently very keen for her fans to get a glimpse into her VIP lifestyle, but there was just one problem - she never actually did any of the things she had claimed.
Anna is a prominent tv actress in her native Spain, with over a decade's experience of starring on the small screen.
One of her eagle-eyed fans was the first to notice something was suspicious when the 32-year-old claimed to be at the Academy Awards, one of the most illustrious events of the entertainment industry.
It turned out that Anna had actually taken Lupita Nyong'o's post and fiddled around with the filter before re-sharing it.
A further dig showed that Anna had become quite adept with rehashing celebrity's posts as her own:
She posted a picture of her head on actress Kasia Smutniak’s body on the red carpet.
She claimed that she had bagged a starring role on The Big Bang Theory and Photoshopped herself into behind-the-scenes photo.
The crafty actress also superimposed herself into a photo with Hollywood hunk, Mat Bomer.
And judging by her penchant for stealing Sophia Bush's pictures, it seems we've got a major fan girl on our hands.
Anna has since deleted her Instagram account.
Hollywood stylists have said they are not surprised at the theft of a $150,000-dollar (€133,680) pearl-covered gown worn by Lupita Nyong'o at the Oscars - as they have personally experienced the seedy side of red carpet fashion.
