Former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding was prompted to address plastic surgery rumours after her appearance on This Morning raised some questions.

The 34-year-old, who previously tested her acting skills with a cameo appearance on Coronation Street, explained how excited she was about her turn on stage but viewers seemed more interested in her looks.

"I didn't even recognise Sarah Harding on #ThisMorning, Where's the Girls Aloud girl gone?," questioned one Twitter user.

While another simply added: "#sarahHarding she looks soooo different."

During the interview, This Morning presenter Anita Rani touched upon the subject of reports that the singer had undergone plastic surgery.

Sarah laughed off the question denied the rumours by saying, "I haven't had plastic surgery."

She then pointed to her forehead to prove that she hasn't had Botox injections by wriggling her eyebrows.

"Can I say hello?" she asked as she demonstrated her expressive forehead lines.

Anita wanted to know what the singer thought about other women altering their looks.

"As a woman getting older people start to feel insecure about the way they look," she explained.

But Sarah responded by saying that women should embrace their appearance instead of going under the knife.
