Sharon Osbourne breaks silence after Ozzy split: 'I'm 63 and I can't keep living like this'
Sharon Osbourne has confirmed she and rocker husband Ozzy have split after 33 years of marriage.
The couple, who have three children together and have overcome drug use, abuse and cancer in their three decades together, called it quits earlier this month after Ozzy was reportedly flirting with a hairdresser.
While appearing on her chat show The Talk on Tuesday, Sharon confirmed the break-up, saying: "It's true. I'm not with him. I just need time to really think about myself...what do I really want for the rest of my life."
When asked by co-host Aisha Tyler what the motivation behind the split was, she responded: "I'm 63 years of age, and I can't keep living like this.
"It's right for me because I honestly at this point, today, have no idea what I'm going to be doing for the rest of my life. I don't know where I'm going, who I'm going with, and I just need time to think ...and really think about myself, about what do I really want for the rest of my life?
"Because this is, like, getting to the last chapter of this book. And I really want to think about it very carefully, about where I want to go ... And at this point, honestly ... I have no idea."
Sharon had originally kicked Ozzy out of their Beverly Hills home, but he returned and she has now moved into a different property. Last June, the couple purchased a $10m home in the exclusive area.
The legendary rocker slammed reports he was no longer sober in a statement to E! News.
"I have been sober for three and a quarter years. I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate," he said.
The couple wed in 1982 and have three children Jack, Aimee and Kelly and previously appeared on hit MTV reality show The Osbournes from 2002 to 2005.
