Saira Khan evicted from Celebrity Big Brother house
Loose Women panellist Saira Khan has been evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The former Apprentice contestant shrugged and said "I'm happy" after learning she received the fewest number of votes from the public.
Dressed in a red lace gown, she blew kisses at the crowd as she emerged from the house to embrace show host Emma Willis.
Khan received fewer votes than fellow contestants Lewis Bloor, Heavy D and Stephen Bear, who were also up for nomination.
The verdict leaves Bloor in the house to continue his romance with Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson, with whom he recently shared a shower.
Anthea Turner's ex-husband Grant Bovey was the first contestant to be evicted from the house following a public vote.
Bovey's eviction came hours after pantomime veteran Christopher Biggins was removed for making a Holocaust "joke" aimed at a Jewish housemate.
Speaking to Willis, Khan said: "It's so good to be out. I was absolutely petrified today but it's so good to see normal people.
"You're in a bubble in there, everyone tells you it's a game, your mind goes, there are so many egos and you're on edge all the time."
She added: "I'm so glad to be out. There were times when I felt I was being two-faced or needed to defend myself."
Asked about her clashes with other housemates, she said: "I'm an opinionated person, it does come from a good place.
"It is all about strong personalities and I wanted to set out my place. I have a strong opinion and I find it difficult when people don't. I think a lot of people are sitting on the fence."
On her tumultuous relationship with Ex On The Beach star Bear, who she had frequent arguments with, she said: "I have had a journey with him.
"He is a prankster, he's a young lad having fun, having the time of his life and he takes it too far. If you give him more attention it gets worse."
She also gave her verdict on the romance between Bloor and Simpson, saying: "It's been 12 days. You make a mate in 12 days. They have got close very quickly. They say it's genuine and all I can do is respect that."
At the end of the show Willis announced the three housemates saved by the public will have to deliver face-to-face nominations, in footage that will air on Wednesday.
