Ryan Giggs lands top TV job in the same city as the PR girl at centre of his marriage split
Ryan Giggs has landed has landed a top TV job in the same city as the PR girl he's rumoured to have flirted with as his marriage fell apart.
The Manchester United star will jet to Abu Dhabi next month to take up the position as football pundit for the Euro 2016 games.
Giggs and his wife Stacey (37) are rumoured to be living separate lives for the past three months and are said to be heading for divorce after she allegedly caught him flirting with another woman.
The former Manchester winger (42) is reported to have struck up a friendship with Kate Greville (32) according to The Sun, who report that the star lavished the PR specialist with gifts when she was promoting his Hotel Football venture last year.
Kate moved to Abu Dhabi six months ago to start a glamorous new job after splitting from her husband, Damien Burke.
Giggs has now signed with local TV station BeIN where he will make €318,000 from his plum new role. His deal was done before shock revelations emerged that his marriage was in trouble.
Rumours the father-of-two was flirting with waitresses at his Manchester restaurant were said to be the last straw for his wife of nine years.
A source said to The Sun: "It's been the gossip here for a while - people are so sorry for their kids."
Giggs' brother Rhodri, whose ex-wife Natasha had an eight-year affair with the footballer, hinted the rumours were true in a tweet.
Rhodri's own marriage ended in 2011 after it was revealed that his brother had been sleeping with his wife Natasha.
Previously, the footballer was linked to reality and TV star Imogen Thomas with whom he reportedly had a relationship with.
It is believed Ryan is worth over £23 (€29) million which his wife would be legally entitled to half of.
