The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted driving her Range Rover into Buckingham Palace, with nanny Maria Borrallo tending to Prince George (21 months) in the back seat and a bodyguard in the passenger's side.

She left her hair down, minus her trademark bounce, but looked healthy as she made her way to the gates of the Palace, driving from her apartment at Kensington Palace, where she, Prince William and her mother Carole Middleton have taken up residence ahead of the royal birth.

Kate is currently believed to be four days overdue, although bookies are placing their bets that she will go into labour today, her fourth wedding anniversary to the future King of England.

It appears she's trying to remain active before the new arrival as she has also been spotted strolling the gardens in Kensington with her toddler son and mother.
