A magician and a dance troupe from Siberia have become the latest acts added to the line-up of the Britain's Got Talent grand final.

Magic man Jamie Raven, 31, who won tonight's semi-final after he conjured up a helicopter on stage in a performance judge Simon Cowell described as "incredible".

Raven asked the judges to pick from a deck of cards that each had the names of particular things written on them - and he made those items appear, including a goldfish, an ice cube, and the helicopter.

Judge Aleesha Dixon - who performed during the results show - said she was "absolutely gobsmacked" at Raven's act.

Amanda Holden said: "You went large and it worked."

Dance troupe UDI from Siberia will also go through to the final.

They were up against fellow dance troupe IMD Legion for the coveted place in the final and judges David Walliams and Dixon chose IMD Legion to go through.

But Cowell and Holden opted for UDI, therefore bringing it back to the public vote in which UDI triumphed.

Looking ahead to the final, Raven said: "I'm going to do my very, very best."

Every night this week contestants will bid for a place in the final, with the hope of winning a £250,000 cash prize and the opportunity to appear at the Royal Variety Performance.

Welsh choir group Cor Glanaethwy and dance group Entity Allstars became the first acts to go through to the Britain's Got Talent final on Monday night.

Performing dog act Jules O'Dwyer and Matisse won last night's semi-final while dad-dancing five-piece Old Men Grooving also became finalists.
