Priscilla Presley denies leaving Scientology after 40 years
A spokesperson for Priscilla Presley has denied she left the Church of Scientology.
The actress reportedly first joined 40 years ago after the death of her husband Elvis and her daughter Lisa Marie left the church in 2014. The 72-year-old denies claims she left the COS which were published in a Sunday newspaper.
Priscilla's granddaughter Riley Keough, an actress, is still a devout follower and back in March, it was reported she was trying to convince her mother to rejoin.
The COS still has dozens of well-known members including Tom Cruise, John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston, That '70s Show star Danny Masterson, Orange is the New Black actress Laura Prepon and The Handmaid's Tale's Elisabeth Moss.
A number of high profile members have left over the years including actress Katie Holmes, director Paul Haggis and most notably, Leah Remini, who won an Emmy for her docuseries Scientology and the Aftermath.
