Princess Charlene of Monaco oozes glamour in sweeping lilac gown at Red Cross gala
Princess Charlene of Monaco knows how to do effortlessly regal style.
The 38-year-old mother-of-two, who has been married to Prince Albert since 2011, stole the show at Saturday night's annual Red Cross gala in Monte Carlo with her husband.
The royal couple were guests of honour at the exclusive bash raising funds for the International Red Cross and the former Olympic swimmer's lilac, floor sweeping gown was one of her best looks to date.
Meanwhile, Prince Albert revealed their twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella (18 months) are learning the alphabet and have taken to swimming.
"They're roaming around, starting to repeat words," he told People. "They almost know their ABCs and numbers. Gabriella is good with her numbers."
"Well, there's a little hesitation before XYZ now – but that should be gone in a few days. They're doing them in French and English. We're speaking mostly English. Gabriella's really very good with her numbers. Jacques is a little bit lazier but he catches up fast and will pass her."
Much like Prince George of Cambridge, the royals have enrolled their children in a local nursery in a bid to socialise with more children their age.
"Actually they're in a daycare center a couple of times a week now," he added.. "That's been exceptional because that way they get to play with others their own age. And they're really very sociable."
"They have this overall happy attitude. They smile all the time. I think they're happy. They don't complain much. Even when they fall, they don't complain unless it's a bang on the leg when they overrun their own sense of speed.
"I think I've only ever seen them cry three, maybe four times. And that's both of them. Total."
