Earlier this month, the father to Prince George (three) and Princess Charlotte (two) visited Vietnam on a whirlwind solo trip and when asked about being a husband and father, the 34-year-old royal responded: "Well, as the other parents in the room will testify, there’s wonderful highs and there’s wonderful lows. It’s been quite a change for me, personally.

The younger members of the royal family have always been traditionally coy when discussing their private lives but both William and Harry have made unexpected moves in releasing statements in recent weeks.
Harry famously issued a statement lambasting the media for its treatment of new girlfriend Meghan Markle, citing "sexist and racist undertones" in articles and invasion of privacy, while William released a statement of his own on Sunday night slamming reports he was "deeply unhappy" with his younger brother for the initial statement.
A spokesperson for Kensington Palace issued the comments to news outlets regarding the ongoing drama about Harry and Meghan's relationship.

"The Duke of Cambridge absolutely understands the situation concerning privacy and supports the need for Prince Harry to support those closest to him," it read.
The Mail on Sunday claimed that the future King of England was disappointed with his younger brother's now infamous statement in which he lambasted the "sexist and racist undertones" when describing his new girlfriend.

"He thinks Harry made a mistake in confirming the relationship and releasing such an emotional statement so soon," an insider told the publication.
"He feels that the statement offered up too much information and only served to fuel speculation about how serious Harry is about Meghan. It could also put him in a difficult position in the future regardless of whether the relationship leads to something or not."

"William knows that his brother can be hot-headed and understands that it is something he felt very strongly about. Privately, he shares a lot of the sentiments he and Meghan expressed as, make no mistake, she was very involved in the statement too"
The brothers share media advisers and are kept abreast of any information they share in the public arena before it is released.
