Prince William brings his soccer skills to China
Prince William is in China for a high-profile trip that will see him highlight the illegal wildlife trade and visit some of the nation's most famous sites, while his expectant wife Kate Middleton enters the last few weeks of her pregnancy.
Today Prince William was seen taking part in a Premier Skills football coaching event in Shanghai.
The Duke of Cambridge was shown around by Paul Hughes a former coach at Reading, Millwall and Southampton football clubs.
William's high profile tour is the most important visit by a member of the Royal Family since the Queen's 1986 state visit.
Highlights of the trip will see 32-year-old William travel to the Yunnan province on Wednesday where 250 wild Asian elephants still roam free.
He will give a speech at a regional wildlife and conservation conference after seeing rescued elephants and learning how local communities live alongside the large animals.
The Duke will also tour Beijing's famous Forbidden City before flying to Shanghai where he will launch the three-day Great Festival of Creativity at the city's Long Museum.
As her husband is busy fulfilling his duties, Kate Middleton looked glowing as she stepped out in London yesterday.
The 33-year-old wore a floral dress by Erdem as she attended a lunch date at The Goring Hotel in Victoria.
The mum-of-one, who is expected to give birth in April, is reportedly in the running to land the coveted cover of US Vogue's September Issue.
Editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has had her eye on Kate featuring on the cover for several years, but is reportedly determined to make it happen in 2015.
"Anna knows landing Kate for the September issue would be a huge coup, especially since Prince William's wife has never done a magazine feature for a US publication," an insider told Radar Online.
"The focus of Kate's feature would be her numerous charity endeavors, which Anna has conveyed to Kate's staff."
She has never posed for a magazine, but the pictures, show by Mario Testino, for their 2010 engagement, were featured in the style bible. The site reports that the expectant royal would have full control over the feature, including her choice of journalist, photographer, wardrobe and location.
When Prince William returns to the UK, the next date in their diary is to appear at the annual Commonwealth Observance service on Monday, March 8th.
