Pregnant Samantha Mumba 'grateful' to survive three-car pile up

Irish singer Samantha Mumba has spoken of her relief after she and her unborn baby survived a three-car pile up in the United States yesterday.

The Gotta Tell You singer (31) is expecting her first child with husband Torray Scales and is living in LA, where they've been based for the last several years.

The singer said while her car was written off in the accident, she’s glad that she and her baby are in great health.

Mumba posted a photo on Instagram this evening saying: “So yesterday was a bad day. Three-car pile up that we got the brunt of.”

So yesterday was a bad day. 3 car pile up that we got the brunt of. My poor car written off a week before the baby is due. As is her carseat. However on a more positive note God protected us all...after spending the night in hospital monitoring her we are just so grateful that our little girl is ok and this wasn't any worse.
