Pregnant Pippa O'Connor and husband Brian Ormond enjoy stylish date at Leopardstown races
It was understated elegance for model-turned beauty blogger Pippa O'Connor at Leopardstown as she enjoyed a post-Christmas date with husband Brian Ormond.
The pair mingled with punters on a day where luck was definitely in their favour.
Leaving young son Ollie at home, the couple spent time with friends and enjoyed a few flutters at the popular racing festival.
Pippa, who is expecting her second child next year, covered her neat bump in a high-neck grey wool dress.
She went for the sensible option of a long black coat themed with tights and a pair of simple black stilettos.
Brian, meanwhile, looked smart and was well-coordinated with his wife in a grey blazer and dark sweater over a shirt and tie combo.
While Pippa joked that she should have swapped her heels for a pair of wellies at the rain-swept course, the couple didn't have to worry about the weather as they enjoyed dinner and the festivities in a private box overlooking the racecourse.
"We come every year and we had a great day," Brian told the Herald.
"This has been our best year to date - we won on five of the seven races," he said.
Brian recently presented TV3's Toy Show and will front a new game show - Wishlist - for the Ballymount broadcaster.
Pippa (31), announced in November that she is expecting her second child in May.
Also there were retired football ace Niall Quinn and former Galway hurling manager Anthony Cunningham.
