Kate Middleton is famously frugal with her own wardrobe and she applies the same savvy to her son's style.

The Duchess of Cambridge, who is eight months pregnant with her second child, was spotted shoe shopping for her son Prince George (20 months) in her favourite high street haunt - Zara.

She purchased a pair of the Spanish store's 'Leather Blucher shoes', which retails for €32, at their Kensington branch, which is within walking distance of Kensington Palace.

The 33-year-old royal also visited Trotters in Chelsea's Kings Road, where she snapped up another pair of navy blue leather runners, costing €50.

"Kate is a fan of the shop and has been in a few times before," a source told Us Weekly.

Her appreciation for the brand is well documented as she regularly sports their designs, as does her little sister Pippa.
