Poldark star Eleanor Tomlinson reportedly splits with long-term boyfriend and Aidan Turner stunt double

Eleanor Tomlinson, who plays Poldark's wife Demelza in the hit BBC period drama, has reportedly split with her long-term boyfriend.

The 25 year old British actress had been dating stunt rider Ben Atkinson (23), who had played Aidan Turner's stunt double on the series, for two years.

The Daily Mail reports the split just days after female fans were celebrating Irish star Aidan Turner's return to the singles market.

Turner (33) reportedly recently split with artist Nettie Wakefield after just eight months of dating. He had previously dated Irish actress Sarah Greene for six years and was linked to Swedish marketing executive Tar Deradkshan last year.

Neither star has commented on their love lives. However, speaking about dating with TV Week in the Irish Mail on Sunday recently, he appeared not to be a fan of dating fellow actors.

"If you're in my business and you find somebody who does exactly what you do and you're living with them, then you're in the business all the time," he previously told TV Week in the Irish Mail on Sunday.

"You go home, talk about casting directors, you talk about the press, you talk about the next job you're doing - it can become quite dull and taxing.

"There's nothing like going out with somebody who doesn't even care what you're doing, let alone have anything to say about it. Because then it boils down to what the real things are, you know?
