Our kid's a 'Saint!' - Kim and Kanye name their baby
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their baby.
The new addition to the Kardashian West clan is called Saint West, TMZ reports.
Kim and Kanye welcomed their second child together on Saturday. Fans have been waiting three days to hear the name of North's baby brother.
Saint weighed eight pounds one ounce.
The reality star (35) confirmed the news on her website with a statement saying: "Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West, welcomed the arrival of their son this morning.
"Mother and son are doing well."
Her site crashed due to the frenzy of loyal fans trying to get more details about the birth.
On Friday, Kim shared a photo on Instagram of her bump, while she was experiencing contractions, captioned: "Ready when you are! LOL."
The power couple, who have been married 18 months, already have a daughter North (2). Kim's due date was December 25.
Although the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been vocal about how uncomfortable she is during pregnancy, it was revealed in the most recent episode of the show she is already considering baby number three - despite insisting she never wanted to be pregnant again.
While chatting with her mother Kris Jenner about her desire for a large family and weight gain, she said: "Yeah, I'm not worried about after…I'm just worried about number three, that's when your body really starts to slip.
Number three? Whoa! Can we just slow down and have number two," Kris said.
"I'm 25 pounds up on the scale today, and I'm only half way there, last time I gained 50, but I delivered six weeks early and they say you gain the most at the end."
The media mogul has never been shy about being uncomfortable with pregnancy and suffered with complications while expecting both of her children.
Last weekend, she underwent a procedure to turn her baby from breech to a head-down position.
''This weekend I checked into the hospital and underwent a procedure called an ECV (External Cephalic Version, or a Version), which is done to manually turn the baby from a breech position to a head-down position," she wrote on her website.
''They gave me an IV with medication to relax my uterus, and then three doctors attempted to work together to turn the baby. There was a risk that my water might break or the baby's heart rate could drop - in which case, an emergency C-section would then take place. I went in with my sisters and my husband. I was prepared for it all! (sic)''
She recently described pregnancy as "the worst experience of my life."
"I don't enjoy one moment of it and I don't understand people who enjoy it. My mom [Kris Jenner] and Kourtney clearly did! More power to them but I just don't relate!”
"I just always feel like I'm not in my own skin.
"People just don't tell you all of the gross things that happen during pregnancy or after. Do you know you basically have to wear a diaper for two months afterwards?! LOL! No one told me that! #SoSexy.”
