Not an L-plate in sight for Jennifer Maguire's low-key hen night
Blushing bride-to-be Jennifer Maguire had her wedding wish granted and celebrated her hen party without a tacky L-plate in sight.
The 2FM host had a classy dinner party with close friends to mark her final days as a singleton.
"There wasn't a willy straw to be seen and that's exactly what I wanted," she told the Herald.
The party was kept extremely low=key at the presenter's request.
"My best pal Claudine organised everything and she kept her word," she said.
Joined by her sister and nine close friends to kiss her single days goodbye, the 2FM presenter looked elegant in a black dress and black and white blazer.
The ten women enjoyed a delicious meal in exclusive restaurant Coppinger Row before hitting the town for drinks.
With her wedding day fast approaching, the Republic of Telly star said she was looking forward to a relaxing weekend with friends and family who had travelled all over the world to attend the celebrations in Castle Leslie.
Her night on the town with poals wasn't the only hen bash to celebrate her walk down the aisle with her handsome half-Italian beau Lau Zamparelli.
Her breakfast show buddies organised an on-air hen for their favourite host before she left Montrose behind her for a few weeks.
"My hen party was the only one to ever start at 7am," she joked.
Her office hen-do was a huge surprise but the fun-loving presenter wasn't fazed by the naughty antics of her colleagues. "Bernard stripped, but it wasn't a big deal because he strips a lot, like every time S Club 7 come on the radio," she said laughing.
"But Jen said that it had been a long day.
"I pretty much peaked at 9am," she said, although she looked every bit fresh and excited as a bride-to-be.
