Former X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger was waiting at the finish line to congratulate her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton after he won the World Championship at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Nicole touched down in the United Arab Emirates today to provide a last boost of support for her boyfriend, who is celebrating a historical win with his teammates.
The couple embraced in front of dozens of photographers following Lewis’ success, both of them beaming.
The pair has been dating since 2008, but their relationship has a notorious on and off again nature. However, they have been together solidly since their reunion in March.
Nicole arrived at the Grand Prix fresh from a performance in Zurich in Switzerland.
The Pussycat Doll, who is currently based in the UK addressed rumours of an impending wedding to the Formula 1 racer.
"Our biggest challenge is long distance, but I feel like I'm mostly here in the UK, even though my home is in the US. I feel that whenever I talk marriage or family, it always comes out as something else.
"I come from a big family and I'm a family person and one day, when God wills it, I will have a family, but in the right time," she told British magazine Hello!
Last time, Lewis Hamilton's father stood on the grid holding an umbrella for his son. After those memorable final few moments, Nicole Scherzinger, his superstar girlfriend, jumped around manically in the Interlagos pit lane before hugging the McLaren team doctor.
Lewis Hamilton delivered a typically-swashbuckling performance in this Texas hoe-down, overhauling Nico Rosberg to take his third win in the United States and an enormous leap towards a second drivers' championship. No wonder he is thinking about making this place home.
