Niall Horan is making the most of his time at home in Ireland.
The One Direction singer (23) revealed he would be spending the festive season in his native Mullingar to catch up with family and friends during a well earned break.
And he started off his holiday catch-ups with The Blizzards singer Bressie in their hometown on Christmas Eve.
Bressie shared the pic on his Instagram captioning it, "Good proud Mullingar men. Off to mass now."
Horan recently hinted he was battling pneumonia in a series of tweets.
"Get a chest infection Christmas week ... cool cool cool ... not ideal," he initially wrote.
Horan updated fans to say he had been wrong about the chest infection, adding: "It's worse."
"Should have listened to my mother years ago when she said 'Don't go out with wet hair or you'll get pneumonia'," he wrote.
Last month, the heartthrob said he was looking forward to some downtime in Ireland.
"I’m going to head home and chill out as it’s been hectic the last few months," he told fans in an update on his website.
"Looking forward to getting home at Christmas.
"I haven’t been home since last Christmas so I miss everyone and hopefully this year I’ll get to spend some quality time with family and friends.
"I really do wish I could spend more time at home but with Ireland as small as it is, I struggle to completely relax.
"So fingers crossed because I miss that place a lot."
Horan, who shot to fame on The X Factor in 2010, jets home as often as he can as much of his family are still based here, including his mother Maura Gallagher and her husband Chris, his father Bobby, brother Greg and nephew Theo (three).
