Newly single Sean O'Brien made the most of his downtime with a boys night out in Dublin.

The Irish rugby star (28), who recently split with girlfriend of one year Georgia McGurk, was pictured enjoying a break from training with his British & Irish Lions teammates, including Robbie Henshaw and Johnny Sexton.

The Leinster players played the dutiful hosts to teammates like Ross Moriarty and Rhys Webb, from Wales, showing some of the most popular spots in the capital.

The group stopped by steakhouse Marco Pierre White on Dawson Street and later for a drink at Kehoe's pub on South Anne Street, before decamping to Carton House, Co Kildare, where they are training for the rest of the week.

Earlier this month, it was revealed O'Brien split with his long-term girlfriend just weeks before he was announced as part of the Lions squad.

"Things were going well between them, but the relationship just fizzled out," an insider told Independent.ie.

"Georgia is busy with work, while Sean is focusing on being in tip top shape for the Lions tour this summer."
