'Miss her so much' - Pippa O'Connor posts sentimental message one year on from mother's shock passing
It has been one year since model Pippa and Olympic equestrian Cian O'Connor lost their beloved mother.
Mum-of-one Pippa posted a message on her Instagram account to mark the one year anniversary.
"A year since we lost our beautiful Mum. It's still quite hard to believe and difficult to put into words. Miss her so much," the blogger wrote.
Louise Mullen passed away suddenly after suffering a heart attack last year aged 61.
The Cordon Bleu-trained chef brought up her three children in Kildare after separating from Pippa's father when Pippa was a baby.
Pippa previously said that her adorable toddler Ollie has helped her get through the grief.
"I have a young child, a lot going on with work," she previously told the Sunday Independent. "You can't lie in the bed anyway with a young child, you have to get up, and because I'm busy with my work and I love what I do, I've chosen to put that aside and get on with things. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, I don't know."
After a brief holiday to Spain with Ollie and her husband Brian Ormond, Pippa has thrown herself back into work.
On Friday, Brian and Pippa hosted a golf classic in aid of 'Finn's First Steps', a charity initiative that is close to Pippa's heart.
Pippa's young nephew Finn has spastic diplegia cp which affects his legs and his ability to walk. The well known face has been using her profile to raise awareness and help drive fundraising for an operation for the youngster.
