Millions in the bank but Saoirse Ronan chooses flatmate life in London
She recently left her teenage years behind, and now Saoirse Ronan is living away from home.
The 20-year-old actress has based herself in the UK, the Herald can reveal.
Although she regularly returns to her native Carlow to see her family, Academy Award nominee Saoirse shares an apartment with friends in London whenever she's not filming.
The starlet recently returned from Canada where she completed production on her next project, the big screen adaptation of Colm Toibin's book Brooklyn, set in the 1950s.
She's now enjoying some well-deserved time off at her fabulous new pad.
Saoirse has been working in front of the camera since the age of 10 and is managed by her dad, Paul, who's also an actor.
While growing up she was often accompanied on set by her dad, and has starred in at least two films every year since 2011.
Over the past 12 months, she has appeared in Wes Anderson's star-studded The Grand Budapest Hotel, Cynthia Nixon's Stockholm Pennsylvania and dark thriller Lost River, which is Ryan Gosling's directorial debut.
Lost River sees her star alongside Hollywood A-listers Eva Mendes and Christina Hendricks.
No doubt she's happy to embrace her independence and spend time living among the bright lights with her pals.
