Controversial singer Justin Bieber might have had a rough year, but his bank balance is certainly making up for it.
The star has just been named number one in Forbes’ ‘Highest-Earning Celebrities Under 30’.
According to the outlet, the 20-year-old singer earned an estimated €65 ($80) million in the 12 months from June 2013-June 2014.
In second place are British Irish boyband One Direction, who earned an estimated €60 million between them in the same period.
Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lawrence help make up the rest of the top ten list.
This marks a high note for the Beebs, who has evidently had his fair share of scandals this year.
In the past few months, he has been embroiled in scuffles with the paparazzi, insulted the Argentinian flag while playing a concert there, was arrested for driving under the influence, fined for smuggling his pet monkey to Germany, and not to mention his spat with Orlando Bloom.
He also had to perform community service, attend anger management classes and pay €64,000 to a neighbour after he egged his house.
