Miley Cyrus unveils new album name and release date
She’s back and she’s got a brand new sound.
Miley Cyrus has revealed the name and release date of her hotly-anticipated new album.
Younger Now, the US pop star’s sixth album, will be released on September 29.
The 24-year-old shared the news on her official website, the entire landing page taken over by what appears to be the back of a rhinestone-encrusted black leather jacket and the title spelled out in rope.

Cyrus released the album’s leading single Malibu in May to much acclaim, as fans and critics hailed her new, mature sound.
She has also dropped follow-up track Inspired, a ballad that she debuted at the One Love Manchester fundraising concert, held by Ariana Grande after the Manchester Arena terror attack in May.
Younger Now follows her albums including 2015’s independently released Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz, and her standout hip-hop influenced 2013 album Bangerz, which featured tracks such as Wrecking Ball and We Can’t Stop.
The former Hannah Montana star is set to perform alongside the likes of Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd and host Katy Perry at the MTV Video Music Awards later this month.
