Sweden's royal family have released an adorable new picture of its youngest member - two-month-old Prince Gabriel.
Prince Carl Philip (37) and Princess Sofia (33) have shared sweet new pictures with their new arrival, who they welcomed in September, a little sibling for their two-year-old son Prince Alexander.
They released the new pictures in honour of his upcoming christening, which will take place on December 1 at the church within Drottningholm Palace, where his brother was also baptised in 2015. In the black and white shot, his father is cradling the infant while his mother looks on.
Sofia (née Hellqvist), a former model and reality tv star, described motherhood as "amazing". "He is very sweet and well-behaved. He’s a mixture of us both," she told Swedish publication Svenskdam last summer.
"The first time does take some adjustment. But it’s still absolutely amazing and wonderful. It changes your whole life."
It's been a busy week for young European royals, Spain's Princess Leonor, whose official title is Princess of the Asturias, also had a new portrait released, to mark her 12th birthday. While she has grown accustomed to public life, often appearing in photoshoots alongside her parents King Felipe and Queen Letizia, it marks her first solo portrait.
